translator for the commander of one of the groups fighting Islamic
State (IS) in Kobane says the militants are trying to reach the centre
of Kobane.
'Ahmed', a translator for Abu Laith, the military commander of the Dawn of Freedom Brigades, told a BBC reporter that Kurdish fighters were holding IS back.
